About Terell

We get destroy weaknesses in our players and get them the results they want. Our trainers all have multiple accreditations and have developed anyone from professional basketball players to 2nd grade. Our training gets you the skill you need to dominate on the court.

During their playing careers they noticed an apparent need for Elite Skill Trainers in the basketball industry and more specifically in the Chicagoland area. So after training basketball for 4 years as sole proprietors they decided to take a chance and start Big Break Basketball Academy, Chicago's Elite Basketball Training Company.

Our skills trainers have multiple accreditations from some of the countries most prestigious basketball training institutions. We also have worked with almost all skill levels that exist from NBA players to second graders. We know exactly how to get your game to the next level. Our program is also Jr. NBA Certified

About the lesson

Athletes come into our facility to evaluated. We run them a 20 min skills evaluation and based on their performance we play them in a class with athletes of similar skill.

We have worked with athletes that range from 2nd grade to NCAA D1.

Remember, it when it comes to finding a trainer. It doesn't matter where your trainer played college/ pro basketball at. It only matters if they have a system of developement in place where they have gotten their athletes to that level. Not every great player is a great coach/trainer! The NBA is a direct reflection of that. The most successful coaches in the NBA were not hall of fame worthy players.

In early June, we had the pleasure of running a camp with about 250 kids for 2 weeks with one of the most respected trainers in the world with NBA Skills Trainer Micah Landcaster. It was amazing too see and understand the amount of detail can be found in the game of basketballl. Since then he has decided to help mentor our program and teach our trainers.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What is my trainer's track record with players?

2. What is their system of developement?

3. What life lessons can I learn from this person?

4. How serious am I about the game of basketball?

5. Will I give everything my 100% when I am on the court?
