About Damon

I start from the foundation and work my way up. Starting with the basics, then build on them. I’m very much hands on, I make sure the proper footwork is done and in the right place and everything is aligned up accordingly. I break everything down, so that the player understands how and why they would use a move. I make sure they understand how to shoot and make shots more consistently and understand the 4 ways of missing and know how to correct there shot to be a stronger shooter.

Most of all I care about the player getting better and understanding the game of basketball.

The rewarding part of training, is watching players get better and reaching their goals with basketball and teaching ball players that love the game.

(concealed information)

I started teaching after managing a pro ball player for 4 years. I take all the teachings I learned from being around NBA players and coaches and teach it to the kids.

I played college basketball, semi pro basketball and managed an NBA player for 5 years.

About the lesson

I sit down with the player and go over their expectations, goals and what is it they want to gain from training. I will also assess their skill level.

All types. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

The advice I would give is. Make sure the understand your development of your needs and your skills. Don’t get with anyone that is not improving your game.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are the things I need to work on that will improve my game and can he or she take me there.
