About Jason

As a true lover of the game of basketball, my passion is to teach players of all ages the necessary skills to prepare them to compete at the next level. We will work on shooting, ball handling, finishing, footwork, scoring moves, and conditioning.

I have coached recreational sports at the youth level, competitive high school basketball in the Long Beach and South Bay areas, and now college basketball at LA Harbor College. In total, I have been coaching for over 10 years.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology-Sport Psychology and a Master's degree in Physical Education.

I only enjoy seeing improvement in the players I work with! Both physically and mentally!

About the lesson

Recreational Youth level (age 5-14)

High School competitive (age 13-17)

Competitive College level (age 18+)

Look for a coach who has a proven track record at different levels of basketball. Also, having an indoor facility available for use is can also be very beneficial and convenient.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What skills do I need to improve on to play at my size/position?

How can I improve the consistency on my jump shot?

How can I stay in shape during the offseason?

How do I know if I am getting better?

What should my diet/conditioning program be?

Lessons are usually priced in sets of 4 because each lesson builds on the previous one, also it's very hard to see improvment from just one lesson.

4 lessons = $200 ($50/lesson)

However, flexibility is important to me, so if you cannot do 4 lessons at a time then I will work with you.
