About Thomas

I coach to see the holistic growth of those I mentor. My passions of basketball and archery are just pathways to building strong life skills and disciplences to master your sport and life. I aim to help those I mentor to see things from a different perspective and to capitalize over their greatest foe, the image of the "Old" self.

I am a life coach. I have worked in ophanages, I a teacher for after school programs. I am a counselor, youth diretor, Youth pastor and park and recreation director. I have over 25 years of experience coaching youths and adults.

I have coached youth and adults from all backgrounds and across many demographics. I am great at what I do.

I started teaching at an afterschool program when I was 16 years old.

I have a AS in early childhood education. I am a Teacher, Conselor, Youth Director, Youth Pastor. Basketball coach for boys and girls in park and recs and CYO leauges. I was a Director for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches mobile camp for 6 years teaching archery and leadership skills to youth and adults for over 6 years.

About the lesson

Step 1: Interview. Get to know the student.

Step 2: Teach students about the parts of the bow and arrow, how to shoot, range rules, and how to have fun.

Step 3: If the student wants to pick up the sport: I would teach student how to join the San Diego's Archery club, help purchess own equipment and learn how to join USA Archery.

I have worked with students of all back grounds.

Make sure you create a connection with your coach. Be willing to be taught and communicate your needs. Then trust the process.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Why do I want training/coaching? Is this just a hobby? Do I want to just be better? Do I want to become a professional in my activity? Do I just want to learn discipline and be held to a high level of accountability.
