About Austin

My name is Austin Darrow, and I am a Middle School Basketball Coach at Brooklawn and a High School Baseball Coach at Gloucester Catholic. I’m looking to give private baseball and basketball lessons to your sons or daughters of all ages, from 1st grade to high schoolers. If you’re tired of your kids sitting inside playing games or sitting on their phones then this is a perfect opportunity for them to get better at their game.

I played high school basketball and baseball at Gloucester High. I went on to play college baseball at Rowan College at Gloucester County and Southern Connecticut State University. During my time as a collegiate athlete we went to back-to-back NJCAA World Series and a NCAA Regional. I also played for Brooklawn American Legion my entire life and finally got to win the World Series in 2014 and have a chance at it again in 2015.

As for basketball, I obviously never played collegiately, but coached the middle school level where I’ve had immediate success in my first few years. I have coached travel basketball teams and have helped give lessons to middle school athletes and to high school girls basketball players to get them ready for the college level.

My main goal out of all this is to get your son or daughter prepared for the next level, whether it's junior high, high school, or college. I know how much quicker and harder the game gets at each level. I am willing to share my knowledge to today's youth and make them better than anyone else on the court or the field.

Please feel free to message me or comment on here and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. I am also available for group lessons too! The more the merrier, if your child doesn’t like to workout alone.

I was always a coach when I played. I liked being a leader and trying to help the freshmen class on how things worked and how to get noticed quickly by the coaches.

I've played college baseball for four years. I was a pitcher and went to multiple world series. I won an American Legion World Series. And currently coach high school baseball for the top team in the state. I also coach middle school basketball.

I like to see what level they're at athletically and like to zero in on what to focus on the most. I like to keep it a loose and fun environment for the kids.

I work with mostly middle school athletes. And some high school students.
