About Mike
I am an experienced tutor with a Bachelor's in Molecular and Cellular Biology from San Francisco State University in California and a Masters in Biomedical Science with an emphasis in Haematology from Kingston Uninversity in London, England.
I am currently a guest lecturer in African American history at Facultad Latinoamericana de Sciencias Sociales (FLACSO) graduate school in Ecuador, teaching a class which I created from independent study.
My versatility and varying interest allow me to draw from a range of topics in order to make scientific subjects more engaging and relevant for children and more practical and comprehensible for adults.
I have two years of experience in tutoring adolescents and adults in math and english. I have worked for two years in biological research including an intership at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and would like to transition to teaching biology full time. Helping you learn is my passion.
