About Daniel
Dan is an experienced tutor with a passion for helping his students. Dan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University in New York City in 2014 with a double major in Biology and Dance. He was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa society in his senior year and received departmental honors. Dan spent time prior to medical school tutoring students extensively for the MCAT as well as various high school and college science and math courses ultimately helping students achieve their full potential. Dan then matriculated at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons where he has excelled, receiving honors in all of his clinical rotations.
Dan is an energetic, encouraging, and dedicated tutor who loves helping students achieve their goals. Through past experience tutoring pre-medical students for the MCAT, Dan has garnered a tutoring style that maximizes active learning. He loves helping students see how much they already know and identify the high yield places to fill in gaps. Students can particularly rely on Dan for bolstering areas of weakness and strength and honest, encouraging feedback. I have always loved teaching and getting to know students. I started in high school when I helped friends with difficult coursework.
I have extensive tutoring experience including working with a number of agencies and over 50 students in both test prep and subject coursework focusing mainly on the biological sciences. I studied biology graduating summa cum laude from Columbia University and am currently a fourth year medical student at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Look for the best! Science can be a difficult subject so you really need a tutor who has a deep understanding of the material and has worked with it over many years.
