About Lisa
I am a microbiologist by training, having earned my Ph.D. from the University of Masssachusetts, and my Bachelor's degree in biology from IUP. I've been teaching undergraduate courses in biology, microbiology, and environmental science for about 10 years in the Philadelphia area, and I really enjoy trying to make the material relatable for students!
I love seeing the light in students' faces when there's that A-ha! moment and it clicks!
