About Maeci
I love being able to connect with students and provide them with an engaging learning environment. I also love seeing students be able to finally grasp a difficult concept and feel proud and accomplished.
I was actually the athletic trainer for the school but I contracted out from a nearby hospital and the principal approached me at football one day and offered me the position.
I have a Bachelors degree in science and I am currently a high school biology teacher.

First I would like to get a little information about the student and assess how much of the subject they are actually familiar with and then try to gauge what areas they are having issues with and target those.
I have worked with students on all levels. I do have a large population of special education students and students that have trouble in larger groups.
To get a read on what kind of teacher they are and what type of tutoring they are essentially needing.
My class recently got to dissect frogs in the lab. The students did a great job of following lab safety rules and being curious about the actually dissection.
