About Leonard
With a huge passion for martial arts, Leonard has a decade profecting his craft. From karate, kickboxing to muay thai his passions run deep. Leonard also has a great love of teaching. Having spent 3 years as a school teacher being able to teach others something he personally loves so much is an absolute joy for him.
When you love what you do you never work a day in your life. Martial Arts and Teaching are my passions. Watching the happiness and self confidence of my students grow as they overcome something difficult is the best part.
I've always had a love of teaching. While much of my experience comes from working with children, I am a first grade teacher, I also love working with adults. One of the best parts of Martial Arts is sharing the love with others.
I have a black belt in Uechi-ryu karate and I am working on my black belt in Shorin-ryu.
I have over 7 years Muay Thai experience and currently compete.
I have worked as a coach at multiple local gyms as well as the UFC Gym in Concord where I perfected my teaching method.

The first class is typically used to understand a students personal goals. Are you looking for fitness, a fun way to get in shape, technical abilities, self defense, or competition? Each of these end goals require a different approach. Once I figure out what you are looking for I will create a lesson plan based on what you want and the best way to get there!
I have worked with everything from young children to adults in their 60's just looking to have fun. I have also worked with people focused on fitness as well as aspiring competitors. My clients vary greatly.
One of the most important things to look for when trying to learn a new skillset like martial arts is a place where you enjoy the environment and are having fun. If you don't enjoy it you wont stick with it. If you don't stick with it you wont see results.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What exactly are their goals and how hard are they realistically willing to work for it. Understanding what you are looking for will help me better help you!
