About Elizabeth
I am an experienced Elementary teacher and EA (Educational Assistant). I have worked with students in traditional classrooms, in summer schools and after-school programs. My favorite subjects are reading and writing.
I enjoy helping children learn new skills and strategies that make them feel confident about themselves.

First of all, I think it's important to get to know each other. What do you like? What are your favorite hobbies? You have to build a supportive connection first.
Second, I think it's important to build on new skills and then introduce new ones.
Finally, I believe setting a schedule and making small goals for a good session. For example, did the student write a complete paragraph? Did they enjoy the process? I think it's important for the student to feel they accomplished something.
