About Aidan
Aidan O’Connor is a saxophonist based in Harlem. In the Spring of 2019, Aidan graduated from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY where he earned a BA in Jazz and Contemporary Media. He has performed with the Dave Rivello Ensemble and the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Aidan was awarded 3rd prize in the 2021 Vandoren Emerging Artist jazz saxophone competition.
I have been teaching private lessons on saxophone, flute, and clarinet since 2017. I worked with the Jazz House Kids Summer Workshop and particularly enjoy teaching students who are interested in learning how to improvise. My ideal student is someone who is self-motivated and looking to improve their musicianship.
Whether you have never picked up the horn, or you have been playing for years, I'd be happy to meet with you and help guide you to your next musical goal.

While Saxophone lessons are what you'll get with Aiden, you will also receive a specialized focus on music theory if you so wish.
