About Wayne
Hello everyone. My name is Wayne. While I'm new to professional guitar training, I am not new to guitars, training, or guitar training for that matter. I've been playing for about 30 years? Wow! Ok well anyway, I started learning and taking a passionate interest in playing guitars at a young age. I was fortunate enough to have come from a musical family. For example my dad played, and he still plays, with a group called The Current River Bluegrass Band. Also have an uncle in the band as well. So he taught me the basics and I was off and running. Ive been playing in bands professionaly since the 90's and am still active. My personal genres and styles of playing come from rock, country and bluegrass. I'm also a vocalist and have sang lead and played rythem guitar primarily. In the bands I've been in. I'm looking for new students who are interested in learning guitar of this similar style. I do not teach scales, or whaling lead guitar solos as this has never been the side of playing the guitar that I glommed on to. Thanks for reading and considering me as your personal instructor to help guide you even if just a little , down the path of your dreams!
I love to teach and watch students learn and become excited to learn new songs and chords. It's very rewarding for the students and myself alike.
