About Adrian
Rendon Guitar Academy is started by Adrian Rendon, an avid guitarist, musician, and teacher. As owner and founder, Adrian began playing guitar in rock and blues contexts joining various ensembles and working on his own craft. Over time, he gained experience playing guitar in various styles including Rock, Jazz, Blue, Mariachi, playing Jarana in Son Jarocho ensembles, and Latin Music. For over 15 years and with many performances including with Mariahci Vargas de Tecalitlan and more recognized Grammy award winning artists, Adrian is versatile in Mariachi, Jazz, Rock and many styles and has years of experience performing, composing, and teaching guitar. Having graduated in music from UC Berkeley, he will gladly and thoroughly teach lessons in Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Ear Training, Harmony/Music Theory (Including advanced harmonizaton techniques), Composition, and Vihuela and is open to students of all ages and levels from beginner to advanced.
