About Kye
Combines controls, striking, and combatives with internal arts and a five elements philosophy.
Have been training in many styles since 2001 to uncover the most univeral, simple, and effective or USEful principles and techniques.
Lessons teach modern-day practicality and hone the students' personal strengths for effective training and unique progression.
I teach my own class as well as a Mon-Fri middle school martial arts program. I have work as a junior youth leader with the Baha'i Faith. I have trained many years in many styles and have studied class structure, student interactions, and curriculum to give only the best lessons I could discover.

Introduce ourselves, ask them why they want to take martial arts. Before any lesson is taught, I have an assessment game that really lets a student express their true martial arts nature. Then we have hands-on work with other students, learning the stance and basic level activities that later branch into more advanced lessons.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What you want to get out of martial arts. Also, discover what your best skills are. Each martial arts style is different and you may find yourself excelling at one style while struggling in another. Self-understanding is the most important thing. Then find a school that you enjoy with good people that can teach what you need.
