About Raghav Raahul
My service stands out in the sense that I will always try my best to ensure that I am communicating and explaining concepts to my students in the best way possible such that they are able to understand and improve. I am always open to different modes of teaching such as explaining concept sessions or problem-solving sessions. Through my service, students are free to communicate any questions they may have in between sessions via email and I will respond as quickly as I can.
The best thing that I enjoy about this service is the satisfaction and joy that I can bring to my students by helping them with concepts and problem to help them improve their performance.
My first experience teaching was when I was recommended by my math teacher in Grade 11 to tutor Grade 10 students in Cambridge Additional Mathematics since I was the only student in my year group to get an A* in that particular Math course.
I have tutored high school students in Cambridge Additional Mathematics and IB Standard Level Mathematics.

The typical process is to introduce myself to them, make them feel comfortable. Then, I would proceed to the academic side of things and would like to understand the areas they want to work on. I would then schedule meetings accordingly and try to understand what the student wants to cover for a particular session so that I can do a bit of preparation in advance.
I have worked with lot of students, some who want to work more on math problems, and some who wanted to work on getting mathematical concepts clarified. I enjoyed both equally as the students were all motivated to improve and keen to learn.
First check and gauge whether you think the teacher has the expertise to help you with what you require. Then see who comes across as enthusiastic. Third, check if your tutor is available for enough time on a weekly basis to create an impact. And finally, consider the price as well, you could have two good tutors with different prices and could save money.
On a lighter note, a recent event was me going out to a restaurant and indulging in delicious kebabs and desserts after a long time, given the pandemic we are in. I find joy in the simplest of things.
