About Allyson
I am a high school math teacher with years of tutoring experience. I have specifically tutored algebra, calculus, linear algebra, and a variety of standardized tests such as ACT, SAT, Praxis, etc. I am experience in teaching and tutoring online and can instruct and assist students successfully through use of video calls while screen sharing an iPad.
I am going on my fourth year as a high school math teacher and I have been tutoring since 2014.

I contact students before the tutoring session to get an idea on what specifically they need help on, whether that is a specific lesson, a whole concept, or just a course in general. I like to give a couple of questions at the beginning to get an idea of where they are at, and then instruct and guide them through different examples surrounding that idea.
