About Robert
Since I study mathematics and physics in college, I am highly qualified to be a tutor in related areas. I have over a year of experience tutoring college students in both mathematics and physics, as well as teaching labs and begin a TA.
When I tutor someone for a while, I get to see the growth in their skills and in their appreciation for the topic. I really enjoy providing new perspectives that makes the topic more enjoyable, while also developing the necessary tools to succeed.
My first position was tutoring for introductory college physics courses.
I will graduate in May with a B.A. in Physics and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. I have experience with tutoring mathematics as well as teaching a college physics lab. I also was a teaching assistant for three semesters for a college math course.

I think its important to gauge the student's abilities and knowledge. If they have areas they believe to be especially difficult, we can target those topics more heavily. Otherwise, doing practice problems will help me gain an understanding of where the student struggles.
I have mostly worked with college students in math and physics courses.
You should find someone who has lots of experience in the topic you want tutoring in, and it helps if they have prior tutoring experience as well.
