About Kristine
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Music from Lindenwood University and will be pursuing a degree in Mathematics in the coming year. I tutored math all throughout high school, and tutoring was my job for two years of college. I am capable of teaching most levels of math, statistics, psychology concepts, and even music theory. I'm very adept at relating information to a student's learning style as well as helping students develop good study habits. One of my favorite things about tutoring is seeing someone reach that "Aha!" moment where they understand the concept they've been trying to grasp. I came to this website in the hopes of not only making money toward my continued education but also the joy of tutoring. Out of all the jobs I've had, tutoring is by far my favorite because there is nothing more enriching than fostering knowledge.
I did voluntary math tutoring all throughout high school as well as two years of part time psychology and statistics tutoring in college.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and will be pursuing a Bachelor's in Mathematics in the near future.

My typical starting place with tutoring is to get a feel for what the student already understands about the subject they're struggling with. If you can find the gap of understanding between what someone knows and what someone doesn't know, you can build a bridge across that gap.
I have worked mainly with high school and college students, but I would love the opportunity to work with younger children as well.

Details
Price varies with the difficulty of the subject. For elementary or middle school level subjects, the price will be between $25 and $35 an hour, for high school level, $45 per hour, and for college level subjects, $55 an hour.
