About Rachel
Welcome to my profile! As your tutor, I will assess your needs in a certain subject you have requested tutoring in and will put together either a binder or files containing exercises and information that is personally tailored to the subjects you need the most help with. I will assign certain exercises for you to work on between our sessions, as well as be available by text or phone for quick questions at any time between our sessions.
I have a passion for helping others and enjoy seeing students that I tutor succeed in subjects they once struggled with and achieve their goals. I also love seeing when something clicks with a student and the joy shown on their face when they understand a subject after it was previously a subject that was not fully clear.
I have a Bachelors in Biochemistry which is both chemistry intensive and math intenseive. I can help from highschool chemistry all the way to Physical chemistry courses in college. I also have knowledge from highschool algebra through Calculus 3. Before I went to college I made a 33 on my ACT so I can also help tutor the ACT. Currently, I am in a Masters of Healthcare Administration program that is accounting and finance intensive, so I can tutor in basic accounting in basic finance as well. On top of this, I also work in research and wrote multiple research papers and articles and can help asset in setting up an outline and writing a research paper.
