About Lisa
I love working one-on-one with students and helping them find a way to make sense of math. I believe that anyone can succeed at math if their instructor can find the right way to teach them. I have been tutoring students in math since I was a teenager and have a degree in math education from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have worked with students in private homes, academic settings, and online.

Ms. Lisa was my 9th grade algebra and geometry tutor.
Math can be a very challenging for some people and I was one of them, but Ms. Lisa always took her time in teaching me step by step on solving problems. She would also notice right away when I still wouldn't understand some of the problems so she would ask me "Point out where you don't understand" and after i would Ms. Lisa would find a creative way for me to understand. I always felt comfortable running to Ms. Lisa for help, never did I felt dumb or ashamed in not knowing or understanding math.Lisa was my amazing math tutor while in high school, she made everything click and make sense. I ended up With an A in my class and going on to getting great scores on ACTs and SATs!
