About Julianna
I have been providing private tutoring for over 8 years since I was in highschool. I understand the struggles many kids have with math and since I love the subject I find that teaching it comes naturally to me. I just want to be helpful!
I love problem solving and helping kids get that feeling when you solve a problem correctly. Math does not come easy to everyone but it is quite fulfilling to be able to get the right answer with just a little assistance. I aim to be that assistance!
My father was a teacher and still works to this day for the department of education. I love the feeling of seeing students understand something they once couldn't understand. I myself learn by example so I like to use that approach to help kids everywhere.
I have been a private tutor since 2010 tutoring children from 5th grade to Juniors in College. I have experience in various mathematics subjects and am currently a structural engineer.

I tend to ask them what they feel they struggle with the most, then start with the basic concepts of that topic. From there I try to build a trusting relationship with the student so they feel comfortable engaging and asking me questions because they tend to learn more that way!
Students in sixth grade, students with ADHD, college students just trying to do better and more.
