About Sarfaraj
I have a diversified experience of tutoring for more than 8 years. My areas of expertise are Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics. The main selling point of my service is making each concept relevant to real-life processes. I use analogies, and physical significance to make a situation clear to the students. I am always ready to change and modify my approach to a problem if needed. I ask guiding questions to get the level of a student and make a quick roadmap for the problem or for the concept. I have both an online and offline tutoring experience. I have handled both group and one to one classes.
Physics is my favorite subject and I fall in love with mathematics realizing its usage in our life. Physics is the tool to explain almost everything going around you and mathematics is the language to express what you see in the physical world. I see both subjects much related to our lives and teaching them gives me joy and satisfaction.
I qualified All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) to enter an institute of national importance. This examination is now known as IIT-JEE main. Physics mathematics and chemistry are the subjects being asked in this entrance examination. I chose mechanical engineering for my 4 years Bachelor of Technology program. This was flooded with advanced concepts of physics and application of mathematics. Studying mechanical engineering let me understand my favorite subjects better than ever.

The first step is to in this process is to know the level of understanding of the student and making a roadmap suitable for him/her. I don't decide the pace of delivering a topic or solving a problem at first. It depends on the student's comfort. I ask students about any specific method they prefer and try to help them using their preferred methods. I am able to quickly change my approach, pace or terminologies as per their need.
I have been worked with students preparing for entrance examinations and taught them physics and maths. I have handled students of age group 6 to 18.
There was a problem in physics where a ring is was being rotated and the student had to find the change in the radius of the ring because of rotation. He is a brilliant student and he had done the work but the answer was not matching. I saw it and said, there will be 2pi at the bottom. He was surprised.

Details
I generally give one hour of demo free so that the student may understand his/her compatibility with me. As I am teaching online only, I also expect the student to invest 10 minutes of his time to set up things perfect for online.
My tutoring rates vary from $25/h to $35/h depending upon the complexity of the topic and additional work to be done (assessment/testing)
