About Yanet
I am a Computer Science major at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I have a passion to help others learn math and advance in their STEM classes.
This year I started tutoring math (Intermediate Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus 2) at UW Oshkosh, and I tutor math for Project Success at UW Oshkosh, where I help students with disabilities and other challenges flourish.
In addition to tutoring at UW Oshkosh, I was a math tutor at the University of Wisconsin- Fox Valley. At UW-Fox Valley, I tutored adult students in elementary mathematics, algebra, college algebra, and trigonometry sharing strategies I learned in the classroom.
Lastly, I am fluent in English and Spanish.
-Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium NASA STEM Bridge Scholarship 2019
-President of the Engineering Club of University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh
-Area Director, Toastmasters International 2020-2021
-Past President and past Vice president of education and secretary of Water City Speakers Toastmasters Internation Club.
- A average in my math courses.
-Currently in Calculus 3 with an A in the class.
-I have had tutoring myself and benefited from it greatly as it has taught me to be a better tutor.
I enjoy seeing the students' "math-esteem" improve.
I am a trained math tutor at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I am a computer science major and mathematics minor.

I was one of Zamora’s supervisors. I can attest that she is very organized, very detailed, very knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and very dependable!
She found different approaches to help me understand. She was patient and made you feel comfortable.
As a former supervisor, I can tell you that Yanet is incredibly responsible, has strong communication skills, and prides herself on her math abilities and ability to teach others. Yanet is kind, respectful and sees each person as an individual with unique needs and strengths.
