About Isabella
I love helping students understand difficult subjects for math. I know that there are many aspects of math that can be confusing, and I've always said that the hardest part of math is putting it into English words! I love seeing my students gain confidence in their mathematic abilities, and how happy they are when they do well in the classes that once seemed impossible. I'm an engineering student, so I've had my fair share of difficult math classes that seemed impossible. The best experiences I've had were with teachers who took the time to break things down and never gave up on me (no matter how confused I was!)
I've been working with students from ages 5-25! I love working with people because every intereaction is different. I understand that people have different situations, abilities, and talents, and making sure we play to your strengths while improving your weaknesses is a big focus of mine. I meet my students where they are, and make sure they understand that no matter how bad or good they feel about math, they definitely have the ability to improve and gain confidence and knowledge on the subject!

I meet my students where they are at. I like to understand the areas they are struggling with, and make sure to break everything down to a point that is understandable to my students. No two tutoring sessions for different students will look the same, because I understand that different people will have different needs and experiences. I like to learn the best way to communicate and teach the subjects to my students so they get the most out of every lesson!
