About Samantha
As a recent high school graduate, not only is the knowledge fresh in my head but I also understand firsthand how difficult online school can be. My aim is not only to help provide understanding but help alleviate the extra effort or challenges students need to put in to stay on top of their workload when transitioning between online and offline school.
My sessions focus on providing a solid grasp of key ideas so that you can apply them to the different questions thrown at you. With new students, I try to get to know which topics they are struggling with before each session so that I can prepare accordingly. I also find that recapping past topics and concepts is important and key to retaining information.
As a student, I know that practice is the key to exam success. So, I will have topic questions prepared to try along with the content we are solidifying. This way, you will also learn important techniques to help you determine the right answer during your exams.
I have graduated with my A-Level Qualifications (UK Curriculum) taking Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics - achieving 5 A*s. I've experimented with many different exam techniques and can help guide students to find what works for them.
Additionally, I've tutored students in the younger grades of my school and helped them excel in their class tests.
Not only do I find working through problems, helping explain concepts, and doing past exam questions to be enjoyable but, it's very fulfilling when a student can use their newfound knowledge to tackle their studies confidently.
As an excelling student in high school, I was given the opportunity to tutor students in the younger grades. I thoroughly enjoyed helping them with their questions and now that I've graduated I want to do something meaningful with the time I have.
