About Stefanie
I'm a friendly and energetic professional with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics seeking to help students with math! Math was always one of my favorite classes and something I consistently enjoyed through college to my adult life. As such, I have tutoring experience from my early years in college; currently, I tutor high school and middle school math. I am available during the evening on weeknights and flexible on the weekends to help fit your busy schedule. We will build a plan tailored to your tutoring needs whether it be help with homework, reviewing previous chapters, preparing for tests, or working ahead so new sections are easier to grasp when taught in class. I'd like to help students find confidence to ask and answer questions in class, and feel prepared for tests. My passion for all things mathematics and experience will help you have a math-tastic school year!

I’d like to help students find confidence to ask and answer questions in class, feel prepared for tests, and find the same enjoyment in math class as I did. I realize a passion for math may not happen for everyone, but I do believe that every student has the potential to excel in class. I too have needed a tutor; therefore, I understand as a student, nothing feels worse than moving onto a new lesson without fully understanding the previous. Or, spending hours studying but still feeling underprepared for the quiz. That’s where I come in. I truly believe I have the ability and love of math to help students avoid these unpleasant feelings of being lost. My passion for all things mathematics and experience will help your student have a math-tastic school year!
I graduated from Kettering University in 2017, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, concentrating in Actuarial Science. I have experience in tutoring college level math during my early years at university. My most recent tutoring experience has focused on high school and middle school math.

For first-time students, I like to meet in a public setting such as a local library or coffee shop for a combined consult and tutoring session. During this time we will discuss challenges and expectations, and devise a plan to help your child succeed in math class. After the consult we will have a 30-60 minute tutoring session, depending on your availability.
