About Audrey
I have extensive experience academically in regards to Math and Computer Science topics. I have excelled in both high school and college performed well on all standardized tests as well as obtaining a 3.9 GPA. I can provide students with unique ways of helping them understand how they learn best and offer ways of explaining things that most teachers cannot do in a class period in front of 30 students.
The thing I enjoy most about being a tutor is watching the student grow and become more confident in their abilites. Every student has a different way of learning and understanding materials and no ones is better than anyone elses. Private tutoring gives a personalized experience for a tutor to help the student best understand how they learn best. This is what I love about tutorig, helping that student discover that about themself and help them best succeed at school.
I first began by helping my younger sibilings with their homework when they were having trouble understanding certian topics. I really enjoyed doing it and watching them learn and become more confident in their abilites to work through the material. I began to reach out to more people I knew and began to tutor more students and help them with their studies. Once I got to college I began to tutor for the Computer Science department and also the HEOP department which is for under privileged students. I really began to fall in love with tutoring especially watching the students grow and learn and become more confident in themselves and their abilities.
I have graduted from Siena College with two degrees, one in Computer Science and one in Actuarial Science. I have taken many upper level Math and Computer Science courses which has prepared me to be able to tutor around those topics. I also performed very well in High school Math and Science courses. I have tutored Elementary, High School and College students in the subjects of Math and Computer Science and have had tons of success with my students.
