About Michelle
I have been teaching on multiple different online platforms. I have personally seen a 100-300 point increase in over 20 of my students.
I love working with people of all ages! Teaching definitely is one of my biggest passions, especially because high school students are afraid of standardized testing. I want to rid of that stigma against standardized testing.

I have been teaching mainly test prep math and algebra 2 for around 2 years. I have been recognized as the best top ten tutors on Wyzant.
I was simply looking for a part time job and ended up falling in love with teaching. Spreading knowledge is something I want to do in the future as well, not only because I want students to do well on exams, but also in order to help them organize and study efficiently when they enter higher level education and difficult subjects.
I am a tutor on Wyzant, Varsity Tutors, HeyTutor, Preply, and was hired to the number one testing company in Loudon County, Virginia for the summer. I am currently a junior at the College of William and Mary and working towards a degree in quantative psychology and piano performance.

When I meet a new student, I try to interact with them as much as I can so I am able to understand their studying approach and I tend to adjust my teaching style based on their personality, intention, and subject matter.
All types! Ranging from 4 yrs old to 35 yrs. I teach math, piano, and the Korean language.
Please look for what kind of teacher will be flexible and willing to accomodate student conditions. I have always been flexible with what the student wanted to do- if they wanted a full lesson plan, lesson by lesson curriculum, etc, I am always happy to do that for you. I would also recommend teachers who are enthusiastic and energetic especially because math is difficult to many students and can often be very draining.

Details
My base pricing is $40 per hour, but I am able to negotiate prices for extenuating circumstances.
I have a strict cancellation policy. Any lessons rescheduled 3 hours before the lesson time will be charged $20, and any no-shows will be charged the full lesson price.
