About Ashley
Nothing is more rewarding than helping a student realize their potential and coaching them to reach their goals. For the past 8 years, I have consistently been in a mentoring/teaching/coaching role through volunteer and paid opportunities. Currently, I am a Chemistry, Anatomy, and ESOL Teacher. In addition to those topics, I also tutor in all levels of math!

1. I always take time to get to know my students, their interests, and their goals (both life and academic).
2. The next step is understanding where students are with regard to the subject matter. Once that is assessed, we can identify strengths and weaknesses in order to appropriately plan to cover pertinent material.
3. I incorporate research-based instructional strategies with engaging activities to address the desired topics.
4. During instruction and after each session, I assess students' progress. Based on their progress, I can adjust the next lesson and/or suggest practice to do outside of tutoring sessions.

My daughter absolutely loved her tutoring sessions. She was struggling in math and science but Ashley changed her entire perspective on learning! I have only good things to say about Ashley and would recommend her to anyone.
She was always on time and professional, but the best part was the connection we made. I felt like she really took an interest in my short and long-term goals and incorporated that into our lessons. We even went over study skills and strategies to help me in my other classes. 10/10 would recommend!
