About Abigail
I am an Australian living in the UK with my husband. I have a passion and love for working with people 1-on-1, using my skills to help be a betterment to them. I have been tutoring for 2 years, alongside my full time work and study. I have succesfully completed 1 year of a Bachelor of Education (primary) through the University of Tasmania, Australia , and am currently taking a gap year whilst residing in the UK. I am friendly, outgoing, and committed to building professional relationships that will ensure the success of any client. I believe in honesty, open communication, and teamwork to reach an end goal. I have extensive experience providing private tutoring services to students aged between 12 and 18 years old. My previous services have included tutoring in Maths and English, and I have now taken on a specialisation in English. My lessons are delivered online through Zoom or Google Meet, typically lasting 60 mins. I pride myself in being attentive to a student’s learning style and individual needs, adapting the conduct of my lessons in a way that best helps them achieve the intended outcome. I conduct a questionnaire for all new students so as to establish their goals and determine if my services are the best fit for them.
