About Jordan
My name is Jordan De Sotle and I am currently studying Computer Science and Cyber Security at Norwich University.
I love all of my classes and the material and end up helping classmates who need help.
I am a Certified Ethical Hacker and have a Google Cloud certification specializing in Cloud Architecture.
I enjoy teaching various programming languages such as Python, C++, HTML, and CSS.
I started teaching by helping other classmates with current and past assignments and ended up moving on to helping other students in other classes.
My experience comes from various tech related jobs involving some level of programming skills. I also actively pursue my own personal projects and enjoy helping others learn how to code.

When working with a new student, I would first get a good understanding of where they are at and what their overall goals are.
I have worked with highschool as well as college students.
When I was first learning how to program, I found a tutor who I related to and could explain things well. One thing to look for is someone with good communication skills.
In highschool, as the captain of my schools robotics team and lead programmer, we advanced to the state finals but the competition was cancelled due to COVID. My expericence working on the team with my classmates was very enjoyable.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would suggest that students should identify what they want to learn before asking a teacher what they should be taught.
