About Ali

I love teaching and I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to teach a variety of courses at the university of Western Ontario (main campus), King's college university and Fanshawe college including microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics.
I have also helped tens if not hundreds of students as a private tutor in both online and in-person settings with numerous other subjects . I know how that feeling of being completely lost before an important exam can be overwhelming, so I have set as my mission to empower you with the tools you need to overcome that and actually start enjoying your time at school. The smile on my students face after they have passed their previously dreadful exams is the most rewarding compensation I can ask for it!

About the lesson

I believe every single student has a unique approach to learning and I do my best to identify your learning style as early as possible. You may be one of those who understands the concepts well but struggles with numerical problems or you may be finding yourself having a hard time getting a grasp of the basics of the course you are studying.
Having worked with university and college students as a lecturer, teaching assistant and private tutor, I guarantee you that I will tailor the teaching material to your individual needs. I always prioritize my students' feedback about their experience with the course content so far and the goals they have (e.g. Getting a grade of 85+) and plan the steps required to get them to their desired outcome in the most efficient manner.
