About Alan

I am a professional violinist with many years of teaching experience, one-to-one lessons and group lessons including small ensembles.
I studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama for five years, and continued my career as a violin Tutor working for the Richmond and Wandsworth Music Service - teaching in primary schools, one-to-one after school lessons and for the Saturday Academy - including the Junior Orchestra.

About the lesson

My main goal is to keep the student challenged and interested. Positive instruction is the key , even when correcting a student.
I always try and make my points across quickly, through demonstration and clear instructions.
So how can I help you learn? I help you to teach yourself the violin!!
