About Hannah
I am an experienced visual artist with experience in multiple concentrations such as ceramics, digital, drawing, painting, and printmaking. In December 2020 I will have a Bachelor's degree in studio art with a concentration in ceramics as well as a minor in psychology. While obtaining my degree I worked in various elementary and middle school classrooms helping students succeed, I spent the most time in the art classroom helping teach the students about visual art and even my own lesson.

As a visual arts educator my teaching method is predominantly demonstrative. The start of each project will usually include a final product that I have made as well as historical or famous practices to show them generally what is expected. I will then include some examples, tips, tricks, and techniques to help them succeed. I will then allow them most of the time to explore what I have shared with them on their own as I am close by to give help when I think it is needed or when they ask for it. It is most important for my learners to be able to create beautiful works that they feel proud of as well as to learn new things that can help them further their talent as artists.
