About Matilda
Teaching flute has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my life for the past 12 years. I teach school and college students with patience, enthusiasm, and dedication. I believe every student has hidden musical talent that can grow with proper guidance and regular practice.
My classes focus on breathing exercises, posture correction, finger techniques, rhythm, scales, articulation, tone production, and musical expression. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new ideas.
Watching students become confident performers has been one of my greatest achievements as a teacher. Besides flute, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, music appreciation, and beginner improvisation. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy learning music while building skills that last a lifetime.

Every student learns differently, so I customize my flute lessons according to individual learning needs. My teaching methodology combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students progress with confidence.
Lessons focus on breathing control, posture, note reading, rhythm, finger placement, tone production, articulation, scales, expression, improvisation, and stage confidence. Students move forward only after mastering each skill.
Motivation encourages students to enjoy consistent practice. Communication makes every lesson easy to understand through clear demonstrations. Integrity creates a respectful classroom where students receive honest guidance and patient support.
Creative learning includes movie songs, classical pieces, rhythm games, duet practice, ear training, listening sessions, and musical creativity. Besides flute, I teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm practice, and music appreciation.
