About Diego
I studied a Degree in Biomedical Physics at UNAM's (National Autonomous University of Mexico) Faculty of Sciences. I have given personalized classes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for more than 7 years and at all levels (from primary to undergraduate), in addition to having participated in language teaching processes (English) and educational community-based projects (literacy and popular education with young people and adults in rural communities in Mexico, free preparation courses for the COMIPEMS exam of admission to higher secondary education in Mexico City) that have enriched my teaching-learning experiences greatly.

My way of teaching is totally personalized and comprehensive: the tastes and interests of my students are always the starting point, and from there we will build solid theoretical foundations to be applied later, without neglecting the improvement in academic results (exams/homework/grades). Particularly, in Mathematics teaching I seek to strengthen critical and rigorous thinking - which is useful for pretty much everything in everyday life - as well as constantly develop creativity, so that my students can understand everything they are doing from a theoretical standpoint and then apply it in practice and thus be able to solve problems in an original way. The idea is that, beyond our next test or assignment, what we learn together will help us for the rest of our lives!
