About Ayana
I am a perfectionist who struggles with procrastination. Sounds paradoxical, right? Despite this, I am constantly trying to learn every day, as practice makes progress. I love to grow, literally and metaphorically. I have a green thumb, and while I do talk to my plants, I see them as a microcosm of myself. Like the lotus flower, we grow despite the mud.
I currently attend the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Neuroscience student. I hope to eventually research Neuropathology and/or somnology. I was born and raised in the Southern USA.

I was recently diagnosed with ADHD a few months prior. While I battled with symptoms my entire upbringing, I didn't let them stop me, as I overcame my obstacles and now attend a T50 university in the US. I relate to any students who may come from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or underrepresented communities. My teaching method places emphasis on practice, repetition, and application as well as how to find stable consistency with these methods. I mainly am hoping to teach/tutor high school students between the 9th and 12th grade. I specialize in topics related to healthcare and medicine, perfect for any students pursuing a pre-med track or related field upon entering higher education.
