About GUILLERMO
Actor, director, writer and producer. I had my directorial debut in 2009 with "No Turning Back" (Sin Retorno), followed by "Bolaetrapo" and "Carrusel" (2012), which I also wrote and produced. In 2013, I produced and directed "Blue Family", (best movie at Feratum Film Festival 2016); and in 2014, I directed, wrote, and co-produced the award winning movie "The Strike" (best comedy at Manhattan Film Festival 2016). That same year I wrote, acted in and directed the award winning feature film: "Habana Instant" (Innovation Award winner and 1st mention of the Ecumenical Prize at Montreal World Film Festival). In 2016, I directed, produced and acted in "Havana Darkness" a feature filmed between Cuba and NY. That same year I directed Paul Sorvino, William Baldwin and Michael Madsen in the action movie "Welcome to Acapulco". In 2019, I played the lead and produced El Desconocido (The Unknown Hitman) worldwide on Netflix. In 2020, I was honored with the Diamond Award as best performer for my work on El Desconocido. In 2021, I premiered theatrically in the USA the Showtime feature film “Rumba Love” which I wrote, directed, and produced. In 2022, I starred the action movies: As Good As Dead (Michael Jai White, Tom Bringer), and Shrapnel (Jason Patrick, Cam Gigandet). I was also cast in the Broadway Production: “Anne in the Tropics” in New York, and co-produced and was the lead actor in the action thriller: 6 Hours Away. In 2023, I produced and directed the Mexican comedy: El Elixir del Amor, and I directed Running Erin's, an award winning TV pilot shot in New York. In 2024, I starred the action movie Dessert Dawn with Kellan Lutz and Cam Gigandet; and the horror movie: Exorcist Archives.

Differently from other approaches, I focus on the student's natural skills and intuition to start developing a tailor maid method that will help improve their creative craft either acting, filmmaking or screenwriting.
As an actor, I was trained under Uta Hagen and Lee Strasberg's methodologies, but I believe ultimately each artist has to create their own tools and methods. I help actors discover their own playbook.
As a filmmaker and screenwriter, I focus on understanding storytelling from a cinematic perspective where image, sound, music, and the scene work creates a whole unit as a narrative.
My lessons are 100% practical. We are going to act, we are going to write, and we are going to film for real.
