About Zoe
I'm Zoë Hanslo - I'm a writer, and a current MA student in Creative Writing at UCT! I hold a BA Honours Degree in Film and Television Studies (particularly screenwriting) and a BA Degree in English Literature. I also attended UCLA as an exchange student, and scored a 3.9 GPA while there.
My creative pursuits include writing on a constant basis and dabbling in shooting short films.
As for credits to my name, I've written several creative pieces and had them assessed by published authors. I am currently working towards publication, though I have several non-fiction pieces published for Her Campus UCT. I have tutored at UCT for two years, and have experience in editing and critiquing creative work. I am passionate about crafting inquisitive and creative minds and skilled writers.

My method of teaching is pared back and simplistic, often built around educational games and exercises that are fun, stimulating and prompt you to improve your skills and think critically. We will work together to assess texts and carry out exercises in tandem. I can teach only in English (but am fluent in Afrikaans). I can teach beginners to advanced learners.
