About Aidan
I am a graduate of the University of Exeter with first-class Honours in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I now work in infrastructure consultancy and am working towards becoming a chartered civil engineer. I completed A-levels in Maths, Biology and Welsh Baccalaureate and achieved 12 GCSEs.

The typical lesson is 45 minutes to an hour and a half.
I try to base my lesson plans on subject areas that are brought to me by students.
A typical session will be as follows - I will first run through the methodology of how to approach the questions within a topic area and the fundamental theory behind any concepts. I will then look to gauge the student's understanding and attempt to bridge any knowledge gaps. I will end with a fun game/ quiz.

Perfect! After lockdown we noticed our son’s motivation & love of learning decreased significantly. He is now in Y11 and needs certain grades to enter college on his chosen course.
In the relatively short time we’ve known him, Aiden has proven to be a great teacher and has been excellent for our son’s learning. Aiden is patient, unassuming, well-grounded and our son finds him easy to talk to and his tutoring style clear and easily understandable. Our son is dyslexic, and Aiden prepares in advance and explains things patiently and clearly.
Aiden is an excellent role model and we’ve noticed a marked improvement in our son’s confidence and his motivation to study has returned.
We would highly recommend Aiden to any other students who need further help with Maths & Science.- The Tuutee attends sessions with a positive attitude and is keen to learn. He is a pleasure to tutor and is progressing well, taking time between sessions to work on knowledge gaps. Aidan gave me maths lessons for GCSE. He was very helpful and explained things so that I was able understand. He has a friendly manner and made the sessions interesting.

Aidan helped me with a maths module within my degree. He was very patient with me as I was really struggling and understanding. His explanations meant that I was able to understand quite complex statistical calculations and I ended up with a first in that module.
