About Olivia
Throughout my education, my teachers consistently underestimated my abilities and my predicted grades reflected this. Nonetheless, I surpassed those predicted grades and went on to secure a first-class degree from a reputable university. Now I am due to begin training as a solicitor with a leading international law firm here in the City. I want to help others to unlock their abilities as I did. Whether it is to get into a top school, apply for university, get into law or prepare for exams, I can help! Considering my background, I am in the unique position to understand both the teacher and student perspectives which allows me to go beyond academic tutoring and advise on navigating the wider landscape of career progression. Drawing off my 3 years of teaching experience, I tailor my tutoring to the ability and needs of my students with lessons to fit around their schedules. I have experience working with all ages, abilities and CEFR levels. My teaching methodology is specific to each student but I often find that I have the most success using methods outside of the traditional frameworks; having struggled myself in school, I appreciate that the schooling system sometimes fails even the brightest of students. I hope to not only provide tutoring but also to show my students that they are capable beyond what they may have been made to believe while in education. I am available for tutoring online and around London.
