About Yusra
I’m an 18-year-old Sudanese-American girl in my first year of university in the UAE, studying business management. I mainly spend my free time reading, writing poetry, crocheting, and weightlifting! Alongside these hobbies, I’ve also been passionate about tutoring for quite some time, having done it since my first year of high school, and it’s become one of my best skills.

My approach to tutoring begins with identifying each student’s urgent weaknesses which I target by teaching clear, concise tips and techniques that I reinforce with many practice exercises. My style of tutoring also consists of high student engagement to ensure that they retain what I teach. In the past, I have excelled specifically in tutoring for SAT Reading and Writing, as well as phonics reading for young children, making these my areas of expertise.
