About Kristina
I am Kristina, a dedicated and supportive tutor with a strong international academic background. Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business in Switzerland and currently pursuing my Master’s degree at FIU, I bring both academic excellence and a global perspective to my teaching. My experience preparing for the GMAT has strengthened my logical and analytical skills, which I now apply to helping children succeed in mathematics. What sets me apart is my patient and structured approach, combined with an ability to adapt lessons to each child’s unique learning style. I focus on building both knowledge and confidence, ensuring that students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. As a tutor, I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child. My lessons are interactive, structured, and patient, designed to build confidence while making math more approachable and less intimidating.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing the child’s homework or recent school topics to identify challenges. From there, I explain concepts step by step, using clear examples and real-life applications. I encourage active participation through questions, practice exercises, and mini-tests to ensure understanding. Each session ends with a short recap and practical tips the student can apply immediately.
My lessons are designed for children up to 14 years old who need support with arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. Whether it’s tackling difficult homework, preparing for tests, or simply strengthening foundational math skills, I focus on creating a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to succeed.
