About Bethany
I care deeply about the students I teach. Not just about their academic progress, but their whole health. This age can be a challenging time for many students. I am here to be another support for them during this time. I am dedicated to working hard to meet your student's needs. I have been working with students of all ages for about 16 years. I never get tired of the feeling I get when I know a student understands a new skill or concept.

I am a student-centered teacher. I view each student as a whole person and like to form a relationship based on mutual trust and respect in order to motivate them to do their best. Each lesson plan I do is different and tailored to fit the needs of each student I work with. Students learn in many different ways. If I don't have what works right off the bat, it won't take me long to figure out what we need to do next. My lessons and tutoring are for upper elementary/middle school students. I can help with essay writing, getting them prepared for those first state tests that require an essay. I can help with history/government/civics content as well.
