About Joe
My name is Joe Quintana — I’m a current professional basketball player and former Division 1 athlete. I’ve been blessed with a successful career, and now I’m focused on giving back by helping young athletes who are serious about improving their game.
Training with me is both fun and focused. I believe basketball should always be played with joy — if you’re not having fun, you’re missing the point. At the same time, I’ll push you to grow through discipline, detail, and real work.
Through JQ Skills Lab, I’ll teach you the fundamentals that matter and what it really takes to compete at a high level. You’ll not only learn how to get on the court — but how to be a valuable asset to your team every time you step on it.

As a former NCAA Division I and professional basketball player, I offer personalized basketball training designed to help athletes of all ages and skill levels improve their game, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Each session is tailored to the athlete’s individual needs, focusing on:
Ball Handling & Shooting – Improving control, technique, and consistency.
Footwork & Finishing – Developing agility, coordination, and scoring ability.
Defense & Basketball IQ – Building court awareness, decision-making, and defensive skills.
Game Situations – Applying skills through competitive drills and live play.
My coaching emphasizes fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and teamwork while creating a fun, challenging, and positive learning environment.
Introductory Session – $40
A 30-minute skills assessment and training session to evaluate the athlete’s abilities, identify areas for improvement, and provide personalized feedback.
Training Options
Private 1-on-1: $75/hour
Small Groups: Pricing available upon request
Location: Mobile training throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
