About Erika
I am a former software engineer with 10 years of industry experience, particularly with web applications, cloud technologies, and DevOps. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and I enjoy helping others learn and understand programming. I have led projects and worked with junior engineers in the industry, and I have tutored the people in my life who have taken Computer Science courses. It is my wish to bring the joy of programming to my students and help them launch projects that they believe in.

I am a patient and empathetic tutor. My target audience are zero experience to beginner programmers. While I am open to helping with data structure and algorithms tutoring, I prefer to work with the following audience:
- Students with no prior background who want to learn how to program
- Students in an intro to programming course looking to solve a one off problem and want to work with me to find a solution
- Students with a vision for a project who want to work with me to define their goals, a project plan, and project execution over a period of time
