About Rania
My name is Rania Saleh and I recently just graduated from South Hills High School in West Covina, California. I've always had a passion for teaching English and especially in guiding my peers with writing. As a junior in high school, I was given the opportunity to be the Editor-in-Chief of my school newspaper, a position normally given to more experience seniors. I strived during my first year as editor and continued to hold the prestigious position of leadership throughout the course of my senior year as well. I taught my staff how to appeal through their audience through writing. Throughout the years, not only did my staff grow, but as I continued to teach them, I grew as well. I was also an International Baccalaureate student, enrolled in the most rigorous programs at my school. I graduated with honors and a 3.6 GPA.

My teaching method is to teach by example. I will show my students examples of what they should and should not do. I will have them analyze texts by themselves at first, then go over what is good and what is not good in each text. We will go cover what makes an essay a "good essay". There will be lots of writing in order for the student to develop these skills that will ultimately help them in their other classes as well.
