About Helena
As a French and English person who has lived in both countries at different stages of my education, I have learned the value of good tutor who can not only help resolve certain difficulties in a subject but also instill a new sense of confidence. Having been tutored myself at a younger age to consolidate my grasp on both languages, I now want to also help others to become stronger in subjects they might find to be a struggle.

I have been tutoring for years, either to very young children struggling with English or to older students in the IB diploma. I believe in a judgement-free approach to learning where working with the student as a team is essential. Every student is different and so is their learning curve. Support and encouragement is key as my hope is that tutoring will not only yield promising results in the subject but also form a new appreciation and enjoyment for said subject. Acquiring a personal approach depending on the student is very important to me as progress can only come with trust between student and tutor. We can do this!
