About Annabelle
I am from Marin County, California and I am a first-year college student at UC Santa Cruz. I am majoring in Biomolecular Engineering and Bioinformatics major looking to eventually pursue a career in Biomedical Engineering. In my first year of college I have taken advanced Calculus courses and Linear Algebra. Along with mathematics, I also am passionate in subjects such as Biology and other natural sciences. For students requiring help in the sciences, I also have experience in college level sciences courses such as biology and chemistry.

I try to make math feel less intimidating and more approachable. Everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to match the student’s pace and style. Whether it’s breaking things down step-by-step, finding patterns, or connecting concepts to real-life situations, I aim to make things click in a way that makes sense to them. I also think it’s really important to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help them not just get through their homework, but actually understand the reasoning behind each concept and feel more confident in their problem-solving skills.
